I have been unable to find anything pressing to write about recently. I try to write each week, but there has been no issue I feel motivated to talk about. I guess I am feeling somewhat at home in Warsaw these days and because of that, I am not thinking alot.
I know some of you read this blog and maybe there is a new person reading it. In any case, do you have a suggestion for a topic? What would a Black Man living in Poland write about?
How about this - do you have any black friends in the city? If so, do you know if there's any difference in the perception of Warsaw by black people from the Unites States, vs. black people from other countries? Is there a different perceived level of integration, 'otherness,' or otherwise? Curious about your thoughts on this matter. Keep blogging!

ReplyDeleteenjoy reading your blog and I’m very interested in your opinions and observations, but I’d also like to know more about your background and why you’re here. This is because I have a black British friend that’s married to a Polish girl with a girl that’s three. I would love him to move here but unfortunately he has too many reservations & excuses. He’s lived in London all his life, a very multicultural city but also it can be very racist. I know it’s easy for me to say this but “what's wrong with being different or standing out in a crowd”
ReplyDeleteI’ve only been living here two weeks now so I shouldn’t preach but I’ve so many reasons for being here and there all positive. Please can you tell me what made you come to Poland, Vocation, Romance or Adventure & how long are you planning on staying?
