At least, here in Poland, we got to see several different events that my friends in the US probably didn't see. From all I can tell, the coverage of the games in London by NBC was less than exciting. It seems NBC used its money and power to control what Americans saw. Not atypical. My gratitude for being in a place that at least televised live is heartfelt. Thank you.
One tiny issue ... please put a muzzle on the commentators. This is not unique to Poland. For some reason, commentators think that viewers are stupid. So, these people have to tell us moment by moment what we are seeing. At one point, one of the commentators here continued to talk us through a dance during the opening ceremonies. The opening ceremonies for London's olympics pretty much spoke for itself. Whether a person liked it or not is irrelevant. The fact remains that it was self explanatory. No words were needed ... or wanted, in my case.
