The games are coming!
This will be a real experience for this non-native. The more I walk around Warsaw and see all the "stuff" being set up for the games, the more excited I am becoming ... and I don't even have tickets!
The similarity I see with this event and similar events in the US (the Super Bowl, for example) is how fast and furious the repairs and improvements happen. One has to wonder why this type of excitement and improvement doesn't happen during the normal times. There is also the wonder of what will happen once the games are done? Will we continue to see road improvements and the cleaning and the facelifting and all else that is being done when a "front" has to be put up?
I hope so ....
